Still working to make something seem 3D, hoping I succeeded at least a tad. ^^;

You are still using balls as heads, I would if I were you, practice some portrait work, simplifying it to the most basic levels you can. You can trace over them to understand the proportions, and find a way that will help you draw them more correctly!

The body is looking good though, you're making quite a lot of progress quite quickly!

Thank you for the tip. Putting a figure's head together is a lot harder than I'd have assumed. XD

It really is! It all is, considering we see so many people in our lives!

excellent gesture study!
i think i was wrong, the torso appears correct with each section of leg being equivalent to one vertical length of the torso :)

Thank you so much for the fav. ^^ And I'm glad that it was right--trying to learn how a grid type method works is a bit harder than I thought. ^^;

Good question, I bet it started with how the books nudged and started disagreeing. *tsk*

Yay! ^_^ Hopefully I can learn to make them better than this--this one is just standing still, not really doing an action.

And I still don't know if I made a successful 3D version from it! @@

I don't claim your drawing is perfect. But the 3D effect is there :la: ANd I really like the changes you made in the model
